I spoke at the
ORU Homecoming Banquet
in November, 2019.
It was such an honor.
This is my legacy!

VICTORY REPORT First Quarter 2018

LOVE-LINK MINISTRIES . . . FIRST QUARTER, 2018

BLASTING THROUGH “CLOSED” DOORS

After weeks of mounting tension, Iraq state-aligned militia forces rolled into the strategically important city of Kirkuk, a disputed area on the border just outside the Kurdistan Region.  Kurdish forces defending the city withdrew, the Kurdish flag was pulled down and the Iraqi federal flag hoisted.

The bold move came after Kurdistan refused to annul an independence referendum held over a couple of months ago where the Kurds overwhelmingly voted “Yes” to independence.

Iraq, Turkey and Iran have made it very clear that they will not allow an independent Kurdish state to be established.

It was against this political backdrop, as well as the closing of the Erbil Airport (that I normally use), closing of the borders, and civil war, that I decided NOT to physically go this Christmas. BUT THE MINISTRY CONTINUES…..

This rescued girl from ISIS holds a thank you note to those that helped financially for her escape.

This wounded boy in Sinjar was caught in the cross-fire.

Here are the destroyed ruins of the Christian church in Sinjar, Kurdistan, Iraq.

RESCUE WORK CONTINUES

Experts say there are still over 2,500 “sex slaves” that ISIS controls! In spite of not physically going, Love-Link Ministries wired several thousands of dollars to the area to help in the rescue efforts. Many testimonies have been sent as a direct result of partners giving their donations.    Not only do we pay military mercenaries to re-kidnap these girls, we pay for safe houses in Kurdistan to help rehabilitate them!

Another rescued girl is grateful for her rescue.

Sex slaves are still a part of the ISIS mantra.  Please help to eradicate this scourge!

This friend of Love-Link, a Yezidi sheik, helps to free these women held captive by ISIS!

Children of those rescued are the real heartache of this war.

Those are being rescued also to learn about non-Muslim ways.

CHRISTMAS JOY . . .

In spite of the bitterness of war, children are treated “normal” with Christmas gifts supplied by Love-Link.  Turning their attentions away from the war on them by ISIS, these children experience the joy of Christmas as they receive Christmas gifts, along with the story of Christmas.

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM COALITION

Serving on their board for more than one-quarter century, Rev. Armstrong has joined forces with his good friend Bill Murray, who heads up the Religious Freedom Coalition.  His organization sponsors the Christmas for Refugees and Diapers for Refugees.  Your support of them, along with Love-Link, is needed.

Christmas party in Kurdistan, in spite of the obstacles of war and ISIS.

A little girl clings to her Christmas gift, as her city of Qaraqush was recently freed from ISIS control.

Qaraqush, outside the town of Mosul, four years ago had 75,000 residents.
Over 90% of the town had to flee.  Recently freed from ISIS takeover,
the citizens are coming back to rebuild.

FROM THIS TO THIS...

Qaraqush children have once again been allowed to return to their homes.
The Christian refugees are praying and thanking God
for the opportunity to be free again in their own town.

Over 150,000 diapers are distributed to Iraqi refugees every three months.

Most mothers prefer diapers over food for their babies!

Rev. Armstrong poses with soldiers in the town of Qaraqush, just outside Mosul.

THE NEED IS CRITICAL!!

Rev. Armstrong is going to Baghdad in the summer of 2018;  And then onto Kurdistan to make sure donations are being used wisely.  The need for love offerings is crucial right this moment!  Even though it might be months away, certain monies must be sent or spent NOW to make sure this missions trip happens.  Please invest in this worthy endeavor in rescuing women from ISIS!  All gifts are tax-deductible.  Please!

Rev. Armstrong preaches the word as he spreads
the information about combating ISIS!

DON’T DOWNGRADE YOUR DREAMS
TO MATCH YOUR REALITY;

UPGRADE YOUR FAITH TO MATCH YOUR DESTINY!

Keep in your prayers the Armstrong family: Bob, Kim and Brittany.
